Dental Check-ups
Normally dental check-ups must be done at least every 6 months. However, it depends on your oral condition. If you have decayed teeth, your dentist will recommend that you have regular check-ups. If you have a healthy set of teeth, twice a year may be sufficient.
On a dental check-up routine, your dentist will examine your teeth condition and any possible dental problems to ensure your teeth are healthy. If we find any problems in the early stages, it will be easy to treat and avoid unnecessary complications.
During the regular dental check-up, your dentist will examine your teeth, gum and entire mouth area. The dentist may ask about your last dental visit and your general health conditions. If necessary, you will be advised regarding your diet, general teeth cleaning, smoking and alcohol affects on teeth.
After the check-up, your Cheshire Dentist at Abbey Dental Practice will give you a date for the next visit depending on the present condition of your teeth, gums, mouth and other factors related to the teeth.
